METALLICA: Rare 'Ride The Lightning' Red-Logo Vinyl Sells For Nearly $2,000!

October 3, 2006

A limited-edition vinyl copy of METALLICA's "Ride the Lightning" LP, featuring the band's logo in red, was sold earlier today (Tuesday, October 3) on eBay for $1,891.95. The LP was apparently one of only 500 copies that were pressed up in 1989 by the band's European record label, Phonogram/Vertigo, and features an individual numbering sticker. View the auction page at sold back in January 2006 for a whopping $2,247!
